Aperitif is an elegant yet understated aperitivo bar where you can enjoy a quick catch up with friends, a romantic date, or simply take a little time out for oneself.
BEHIND THE BAR
Nestled on the vibrant upper Bree Street in Cape Town, Aperitif opened its doors in September 2023, bringing a taste of the Italian and French aperitivo culture to Cape Town.
DRINKS
At Aperitif, we have curated a drinks menu that celebrates the classics while making room for our own twists on the classics. Our spirit selection comprises of premium brands, and a well-balanced selection of wines mainly from small-scale, local producers in and around the Western Cape.
FOOD
Our food offering draws inspiration from the European aperitivo culture, with the focus being on simple food designed to be shared.
THE SANDWICH BAR
Our downstairs bar is now open during the day as The Sandwich Bar. Sandos are made fresh to order. Keep an eye on our Instagram, as our sando offering changes from time to time.
BOOKINGS
We do not take reservations, however, our spaces are available for private bookings and exclusive hire. We also offer off-site bar catering for private events.
No Reservations, you will always get a drink.
AFTERNOON DRINKS
From October to May our Afternoon Drinks can be enjoyed every day from 15h30 – 18h30, R 90 on select drinks & R45 on lager on tap.
